WHAT: Opening Doors - A Fibroid Empowerment and Wine Tour Celebration (see Schedule of Events below)

Friday, January 24
Noon	Arrive early and join us for an informal walk and a bit of shopping around Monterey's historic Fisherman's Wharf and Cannery Row
4:00-7:30 p.m.	Registration and Informal Pre-Dinner Gathering
7:30 p.m.	Dinner/Speaker Paul Indman, MD Alternatives to Hysterectomy - Myomectomy
Saturday, January 25
7:30 a.m.	Breakfast Buffet
8:30 a.m.	Carla Dionne, Executive Director National Uterine Fibroids Foundation Opening Doors - Our Mission in Action
10:00 a.m.	Wine Tour - bus pick up Drive south through the valley, stopping at Jekel Vineyards for a Winery Tour and Tasting along with a Catered Luncheon. After lunch, continue on to Smith & Hook / Hahn Estates Winery for a vineyard walk and absolutely spectacular views! Wine tasting rounds out the visit and afterwards we will return to Monterey along scenic River Road. (Wines will also be available for purchase at both vineyards.)

4:00 p.m.	Return to Hotel Casa Munras
5:00 - 6:30 p.m.	Book Signing - a local Monterey business will be offering specially selected women's health books for sale and author signing of the following: A Gynecologist's Second Opinion by William Parker, MD Sex, Lies, & the Truth About Uterine Fibroids by Carla Dionne

Sunday, January 26
	No formal activities planned. However, Monterey is full of great places to eat and you may join us for a no host Sunday Brunch or gather with new found fibroid friends for an end of the weekend breakfast. Have a need to watch the Super Bowl? You may want to head home early OR hit up a local pub in Monterey to watch the game before heading out.
